While digging though the basement to prepare for demolition, I was sorting things for trash and storage, and I ran across this bit of blog history.  The folks at Pyra were in need of new servers for Blogger and did a donation campaign.  Some amount of money got you prized Blogger stickers.

I found not only my Blogger sticker set (five I think) and the original envelope from Pyra.  Not too much longer after this Pyra imploded and went from many employees down to one.  The new servers that were purchased seemed to have attatchment issues with Ev.  When ever Ev would leave town the servers would act up and Blogger would go down.  It was during this time that I moved to hand mark-up for my blog and within a couple months or so I moved to my own hand-built blogging software for Off the Top, my "personal" blog.

The Blogger stickers reminded me of a magical time blogging and the web, now it is work and still fun, but not as magical as it once was.
